Richmond Post Production
by admin on Dec.16, 2009, under Wedding Video
Mad Box is a new post crew that is working in the downtown Richmond area. The work being done at Mad Box is on par with New York professional post houses. They recently decided to add me as one of their editors and I’m very honored to start working with Mr. Williams and the rest of the crew. The 9WG facility that houses the tapeless Mad Box room is certainly state of the art and is equipped with FCP raid editing for up to 4K resolution, generated when using a RED camera. 9W6 has some other rooms and features including a green screen in the kitchen, recording studio, in-house catering, free hotel rooms, nice people and the list goes on. The grand opening a few weeks ago brought out post production (Malkie crew) from the Martin Agency, Runnning with Scissors. Other agencies, production crew and producers from all over joined in the festivities. It was complete with grand tours and lots of tasty morsels. Click the image below to visit their new website…

Wedding Gig in Downtown Richmond
by admin on Sep.07, 2009, under Wedding Video
I shot a wedding video this weekend in the Downtown Richmond, VA at the Reveille United Methodist Church. It turned out to go very smooth and everything ran on time down to the very last minute, except when I had to get a ride back to the church from the reception because the bride and groom (Heather & Blake) asked me to ride with them in the Cadillac Escalade stretch limo. Wow, what a nice ride!!! We stopped at 3 different location downtown for various photo ops including the location that Blake proposed to Heather. It was a magic on video.
The reception was at the Main Street Train station and the night went completely according to plan. The party was a grand ole time and everyone seemed to have a blast. I should have the video edited within a week or two and will post a montage of the ceremony and reception online.

We at CorpComm appreciate the enthusiasm Seth has for the work he does for us. We understand that it can be challenging to work with us / our clients indefinite schedules and conversely tight deadlines. Regardless of the situation, the product is delivered as requested. ~ T. Jeffreys

This past month, I have been extremely busy with new projects. I love to work with clients that I have worked with in the past. I get very excited when I do a project for an agency that produces only the highest quality videos. The project becomes something more than just work; it is enjoyable and easy to get things right. In this instance, my favorite client (Mr. B) sent me a hard drive with the footage already captured. All I had to do was examine the storyboard and cut the shots that their producer had chosen. Of course, they gave me some liberty to change or add shots, but usually the producer knows exactly what shots should be used. The voice over that Mr. B provided was filled with terms about products that I had never seen before, and I was very happy to have the shots picked out for me in advance. One of the best parts about this project was the high quality HD footage that was used. Some of these shots reminded me of CSI Miami. It looked amazing! |

- The storyboard they provided was well drawn out and a perfect example of what a storyboard should look like. (see top-right image) - The Resolution is HD, so the image is amazing. - The 3D Elements are included to enhance the animation realism. High quality ad agencies make my job as a freelancer much more satisfying. If you want to animate your company logo, contact me today… 804-744-1177 |
